Environmental Policy

Mitsubishi Corporation Life Sciences Limited aims to contribute to a sustainable global environment through our business activities. In all aspects of our corporate activities, we strive to conserve the global environment and develop a sustainable society.
The realization of a carbon-neutral society is a major theme for us. We monitor our performance every year with an eye to achieving the goals of the entire Mitsubishi Corporation Group, and advance the Group-wide initiatives. We will accelerate our efforts going forward.

Environmental Policy

Mitsubishi Corporation Life Sciences Limited considers the Earth to be our greatest stakeholder. We strive to conserve the global environment in all aspects of our corporate activities with the aim of developing a sustainable society.

1. We strive to reduce the environmental impact of our business activities, conserve resources and energy, and recycle resources.
2. We comply with all laws and regulations, respond to social changes, and continuously improve our environmental activities from a global perspective.

Based on our Environmental Policy, we have established Basic Environmental Rules to address the following items.

1. Formulation of Medium- to Long-Term Strategies
   In formulating medium- and long-term business strategies, we will fully take into account environmental issues such as preservation of the natural environment and the transition to a low-carbon society.
2. Incorporation of Environmental Perspectives into Business Activities
   In all phases of our business activities, including factory location, R&D of products and other items, design, production, distribution, procurement, and product transactions, we not only give consideration to reducing environmental impact as much as possible, but also to increasing our environmental value through our business activities as much as possible. In addition, when discussing investment and loan proposals, we conduct deliberations and discussions from a comprehensive perspective that includes environmental aspects.
3. Reduction of Environmental Impact at Offices
   We will reduce the environmental impact of our offices through energy conservation, resource conservation, effective use of resources, and other means.
4. Environmental Conservation Through Social Contribution Activities
   Recognizing the importance of the various benefits provided by ecosystems, we mitigate impacts on biodiversity and conserve the environment through social contribution activities.
5. Timely Disclosures and Collaboration with Stakeholders
   We disclose our environmental information in a timely and appropriate manner, and promote communication and collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
6. Environmental Compliance
   We not only comply with environmental regulations of national and local governments and act in accordance with international codes of conduct, but will also formulate voluntary standards as necessary to protect the environment.
